Day 1-2: Copenhagen, Denmark

Welcome to the capital of Denmark! Explore this beautiful city filled with canals and cobble stone streets. Spend your day shopping, brush up on your history at the museums and sip on local coffee at one of the many cafes. Enjoy a 2 night hotel stay to explore Copenhagen.

 

Day 3: Copenhagen, Denmark

Embark your 21 night cruise onboard MSC Poesia from Copenhagen.

 

Day 4: Warnemünde (Berlin), Germany

Warnemünde will surprise you with its villas, hotels and the large white and silver beach. Its heart is Am Strom, next to the port, where the homes of old captains and fishermen have been turned into coffee shops and boutiques to explore.

 

Day 5: At Sea

Your day at sea will allow you to take full advantage of everything the ship has to offer. Seek out hidden treasures and make the most of the facilities onboard. If relaxation is on your mind then your sea day will allow you to sit back, soak in ship life and watch the world as it floats by you.

 

Day 6: Kirkwall, Scotland

In Kirkwall join the cruise team to visit Skaill House a 17th century mansion with the best preserved prehistoric village in Europe in its grounds. Whiskey fans must visit Highlands Park, the most Northerly Whiskey distillery in the world for a tasting of the unique Whiskey and a tour of the distillery.

 

Day 7: Stornoway (Scotland), UK

Stornoway is a picturesque town in the Western Isles of Scotland. Highlights of Stornoway include the Victorian-era Lew Castle & Museum, the modern An Lanntair for modern art & the beautiful Stornoway Harbour.

Day 9: Reykjavik, Iceland

Iceland’s capital and largest city was settled in 877 AD and has grown into an integral seaport and government hub. Even though it is a considerably advanced and progressive destination, it still uses water from nearby geysers to heat all of its buildings.

Day 11: Prince Christian Sound, Greenland

The Prince Christian Sound is a cruising hot spot. It separates the mainland from Sammisoq and other islands of the Cape Farewell Archipelago near the southernmost tip of Greenland.

Day 13: Nuuk, Greenland

Nuuk, Greenland’s capital, is located on the southwest coast of the country. Nuuk is famous for its large fjord system, filled with waterfalls, humpback whales & icebergs. Filled with brightly coloured houses along the waterfront of the city with the formidable backdrop of Sermitsiaq mountain. Greenland National Museum has mummies & Inuit skin boats, while the Nuuk Art Museum displays local works. The Katuaq cultural centre offers films, concerts and art.

 

Day 14-15: Ilulissat, Greenland

The coastal town of Ilulissat is renowned for its breathtaking Ilulissat Icefjord & for the huge icebergs in Disko Bay. Hike the trails of Sermermiut settlement for the best vies of the ice. The area is home to thousands of Greenland dogs, used for dogsledding. Enjoy 1 night onboard MSC Poesia in port.

Day 17: Qaqortoq, Greenland

Qaqortoq is set in the south of Greenland famous for its stunning system of fjords. Take time out to see the colonial buildings & a landmark fountain in the town centre. Qaqortoq Museum features displays about Greenlandic culture. From Lake Tasersuaq, trails lead through rugged mountains to the old Norse settlement of Igaliku. To the southeast, the hot springs at Uunartoq sit beside a bay dotted with icebergs.

Day 20: Isafjordur, Iceland

Welcome to Isafjordur, home to towering peaks of untouched wilderness. The prosperous fishing town was formed by ancient volcanoes and settled in the ninth century by Vikings. Explore the narrow streets and 18th century timber structures that fill the town then spend some time learning about the regions history. If you’re feeling active then take part in horseback riding, bird watching, kayaking or hiking in the hills.

 

Day 21: Akureyri, Iceland

Iceland’s second largest city is home to integral ship ports and fishing centres. Enjoy a bustling nightlife and gourmet food amongst stunning snow-capped mountains and fjords or soak up robust folk culture. Whatever you choose, it will be memorable.
